Milton House is is a boutique interior design studio specializing in fully custom home builds, large scale remodels, and fully furnished interiors. Based out of Minneapolis/Saint Paul we are known for creating refined, livable homes that are rich in character and feel deeply personal.

Megan Burton
Design has been at the heart of my life from an early age. Growing up, I was often around my parents as they remodeled their home, and that constant pursuit of transformation sparked something in me. My curiosity for interior design grew from that experience — a love for how thoughtfully designed spaces can enhance daily life.
A Midwesterner through and through, I grew up in Wisconsin and later headed west to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. That’s where my passion began to take real shape — evolving into a career that still gets me up each morning, excited for the work ahead.
Early in my career, I worked in the commercial side of design, gaining experience in furniture, hospitality, and thematic environments. Those years gave me a strong foundation and shaped how I think about creativity, balance, form, and the impact design has on everyday life.
At Milton House, I bring that same passion into every project, focusing on creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional. I take pride in working alongside a team of professionals who share a commitment to craftsmanship and collaboration, each with their own passion for their craft.
For me, the best design comes from truly listening and understanding what makes each home and its inhabitants special. It’s about marrying the science of how spaces operate with the art of how they feel, a balance I’m always excited to explore.
